Aussie kids are Pho3nix kids!

The Pho3nix Kids Triathlon by Chris McCormack series in partnership with the Pho3nix Queensland Tri Series and the Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon is now halfway through the 2023-2024 season, with the fourth round at QTS Raby Bay just around the corner on 10 December.

The previous season improved on debut season numbers by 6%, and this season is shaping up to fulfill the Pho3nix mission to make sport more accessible for all and provide even more kids with opportunities to have fun and give sport a try.

Already a total of 800 entries have been received not just for this year’s races, but also all the way through the next three QTS rounds in Robina, Caloundra, and Raby Baby to the Pho3nix Kids Gold Coast Triathlon on 6 April 2024 which features triathlon, duathlon, and aquathlon categories for children 7 to 14 as well as fun run options for kids 3 and up.

It’s not just about the participation numbers, although that’s an important part of it. Pho3nix Kids Triathlons by Chris McCormack have also raised nearly AUD $15,000 in contributions for the Pho3nix Foundation over the past three seasons. This support is vital in providing access to sports for underprivileged children around the world and helping emerging athletes reach for their dreams.

Pho3nix Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation, is committed to creating a worldwide movement engaging children in sport and physical activity. Since 2018, Pho3nix has brought sport to more than half a million children through sport camps, school outreaches, an activity tracking app, and more than 40 kids triathlons in seven countries. The Pho3nix Future Program has equipped over 160 promising junior athletes with the skills to develop a career in professional sport. And the Pho3nix Athlete Program has assisted over 50 athletes from 25 nations competing in 29 disciplines toward realizing their Olympic dreams and blazing the way for future generations.

We at the Pho3nix Foundation wish you a joyous festive season. See you in the New Year!
